Want to garner some Christmas Cheer? Well, just ask Antalis! - 03-12-2010

Paper ManThe last Friday in November saw Industry editors gather at Antalis’ head office to celebrate the year that was. This tradition, now running into it’s 15th year, is really a big Thank you to the various trade magazines for the tremendous support that Antalis experiences annually.

“We have enormous respect for the numerous publications we are exposed to – I refer to them as the soul of the industry. Collectively they perform an exceptional job in communicating the complexity and competitiveness of the arena in which we operate. Our lunch is an opportunity for us to let our hair down, chat about the ins and outs of what transpired during the year; in good company and off the record!” commented Keith Solomon, Director of Antalis.

2010 has been a magical year for South Africa and Antalis alike; Caroline Coughlan, Marketing Manager, Antalis did a brief wrap up of some of the accomplishments that the organisation proudly boasts before guests were treated to a thought provoking or mind-bending display of talent by Herman the Magician.

Of course no party would be the same without photographic proof! The latest Kodak Digital  Centre – recently donated to Antalis by Kodak – was put to good use especially by the two lucky winners; Charnia Yapp, Practical Publishing won a camera sponsored by Kodak and Suzi Moore, Packaging & Print Media won a Kodak Digital photo frame.

A sneak preview of the new Antalis positioning statement and branding was offered – with a gentle reminder to ‘the off the record comment’!

“2011 will officially launch our revised look but we feel so strongly that our editorial relationships echo friendships that we were adamant to give them a heads up. This year really has been one of exceptional growth, especially for the Graphics division, but I am under no illusion that this is not partially down to the relationships we have built and continue to maintain with our editorial team. We wish everyone well over the festive season and look forward to more excitement next year.” concludes Solomon.
